Q: What is Summer Internship & Training - 2012?
Ans: The Summer Internship & Training (SIT) is the first of its kind International Training Program for the Indian students.
This is an ideal internship opportunity for the students as they'll get theoretical knowledge and practical exposure by getting trained on the internationally acclaimed curriculum. Course content of SIT 2012 is certified for quality by iCarnegie - Powered by Carnegie Mellon University, USA.
 
Q: Which are the courses offered in SIT-2012?

Q: What kind of CERTIFICATION will I get by doing any of the SIT-2012 courses?
Ans: Every student attending any one of the SIT 2012 course would get Dual Certification:
1. National Level Certificate of doing Summer Internship with Technophilia Systems.
2. International Ceritificate of Excellence for attending a course certified for quality by iCarnegie - Powered by Carnegie Mellon University, USA.
 
Q: Is it possible to change/switch my batch after registration?
Ans: Yes, you can change the batch after registration to suit yourself, but for that you have to contact Technophilia Systems and check for available seats in the new batch. You can e-mail your request for change of batch to sit@technophilia.co.in with a valid reason.
 
Q: Is there a provision to get refund of my fees? In which case am I entitled to claim a refund?
Ans: Technophilia Systems refund policy:
In case you have registered for a batch and now for some genuine reason you would not be able to attend the internship program, you have to inform Technophilia Systems atleast 7 days prior to the commencement of the Registered Batch Start Date. In case you are unable to inform us within the due period of seven days before the training begins, then Technophilia Systems shall not process your refund but you shall attend the same training in any of the upcoming batches subject to availability of seats. For all of this you have to inform Technophilia Systems well in time by sending an email to sit@technophilia.co.in . In the email it is mandatory to mention the genuine reason for your unavailability and refund.
Q: Is it compulsory to get my laptop for the complete course duration? If yes which configuration?
Ans. It is not compulsory to carry a laptop, but it is advisable to carry one as it will be beneficial for you, as the IT infrastructure which we offer would not be consistent in all the centers and would vary from location to location. Hence to avoid sharing computers with other students (can happen only in some centers), its better to carry a laptop with a Windows OS (No Linux or Mac).
Q: Is there any accommodation facility provided at all the SIT Centers? If yes, what is the cost for it?
Ans. Yes, we have arranged accommodation facility near some of the SIT Centers (not all centers) at a nominal price of Rs.3000/- per student for 2 weeks. Accommodation includes only stay and no mess (food). If you need accommodation facility, then kindly send an email to sit@technophilia.co.in requesting "Accommodation facility in CITY NAME" and we shall let you know the availability.
Note: All refunds will be credited back to candidates account only after 20th August 2012.
